Get started with Instagram Automation

Instagram Automation allows Instagram Businesses to use a chatbot to manage their Instagram DMs. An Instagram Business Account must be connected to a Facebook Page for Instagram automation to work.

Instagram Automation is available for the following accounts:

• Any Instagram Professional account for a business.
• Any Instagram Professional account for a Creator.

To manage Instagram messages via Doubletick, Instagram business accounts must enable the connected tools to toggle under message control settings.

Note: Make Sure your Instagram is linked with your Facebook Page

Home – Go to Settings

Channels – click Instagram – Connect

Connect your Instagram Professional account to Doubletick

Select Instagram when creating a new bot.

Select your Instagram account

Go back to settings to check your connected account

How to build Instagram flows

The process of building flows for all channels is the same. We recommend you always use the Omnichannel message type.

Important Notes

• Your Instagram Business account must be connected to a Facebook Page.
• Group threads (conversations with more than 2 participants) are not supported.
• Instagram Comment Automation tool doesn’t work on Instagram Ads.
