Chat History System Fields Update

Introduction

We’ve launched four new system fields designed to enhance interaction tracking by providing access to the chat history of a contact. These fields enable businesses to comprehensively view the messages exchanged with a contact.

New System Fields for Chat History

Overview of System Fields
  • {{chat_history}}: Retrieves the last 50 messages between a user and the business.
  • {{chat_history_large}}: Obtains the last 200 messages for more extensive history.
  • {{chat_history_details}}: Similar to {{chat_history}}, but also includes the sender’s identity.
  • {{chat_history_details_large}}: A larger version of {{chat_history_details}}, capturing the last 200 messages with sender information.
